Note: I am not affiliated with Costco in any way. I only write these reviews to share my experiences I am only a fan of the company.

Hello, guys! Today, I have a Costco muffin review for you. I love trying out Costco food; usually, I head to the food court, but this time, I made my way to the bakery department. My first taste of Costco's baked goods had to be their muffins. I took my time trying all the different flavors, and now I'm here to share my thoughts on each one to make your decision easier when choosing the right Costco Kirkland Signature muffin. Alright, let's begin.

  1. The % Daily Value (DV) tells you how much a nutrient in a serving of food contributes to a daily diet. Be sure to look at the Calories Amount Per Serving

Costco Kirkland Signature Coffeecake Muffin Review

Costco Kirkland Signature Coffeecake Muffin

This seems to be one of the new flavors added by Costco; I haven't seen it at my Costco before, so it's new to me. The Coffee Cake Muffin tastes amazing and is very reasonably priced. It comes in packs of two 6-packs for $8, so $4 for one package of 6 muffins— not bad at all. Each muffin is quite large and chunky, definitely worth the price.

The top of the Coffee Cake Muffin is visually appealing and tastes just as good. There's a generous amount of coffee cake on top, and inside, there's a delightful cinnamon swirl. It's quite interesting.

Even if you're not a big fan of Costco's muffins, you might enjoy this one because of its rich coffee flavors. It's a new addition, so I suggest giving it a try to see if you like it. Personally, I love  the way it look, smell, and taste.

I particularly appreciate the icing on top; it elevates the muffin to a morning delicacy, though I wouldn't recommend eating it close to bedtime due to the caffeine content.

After trying this flavor, I will definitely buy it again. What I really love about this muffin is its top. I wish all muffins had such a nice topping like the Costco Kirkland Signature Coffee Cake Muffin.

In my opinion, with cupcakes and muffins, the top is often the best part, so having a nice one like this is a big plus.

The bottom half of this muffin also impressed me; the cinnamon swirl and bit of caffeine flavor blend perfectly. It tastes really good.

Overall, the Costco Kirkland Signature Coffee Cake Muffin is one of Costco's best muffins, possibly their best. Without hype, it's amazing.

The muffin is moist throughout; it wasn't dry at all. I loved the overall flavor; the cinnamon isn't overpowering, and they've added the perfect balance.

This is one of those muffins where I'd give the bottom half a 5 out of 5 rating, an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5

Costco Kirkland Signature Blueberry Muffin Review

Costco blueberry Muffin

I will now tell you about my experience with the Costco blueberry muffin.

On the outside, they look normal like every other muffin, but when you bite into them, they are quite soft on the inside. They are very moist, definitely the best muffin for any meal— breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They make a great added dessert after your meal; for dinner, I enjoy them with milk. They taste really good with some milk.

The blueberries are distributed nicely, not overpowering. Overall, they are amazing; they taste much like cake, which I really like. The top tastes amazing, and the inside is soft and flavorful. I was surprised to find that they taste a bit like cinnamon mixed with blueberry. It's more like a traditional muffin, Definitely, reminds you of what grandma would bake at home— fresh and tasty.

I don't know how Costco manages to keep their muffins so fresh. Either way, they are well-kept and maintained, with a good, simple, traditional look.

I usually give the Kirkland Signature Blueberry Muffins a nice sniff simply because I love the smell of blueberries mixed with baked muffins.

Don't stuff them in your mouth; simply take medium bites at a time. Taking too big a bite might leave you searching for water or milk, so my advice to you is not to. I think they are a bit too spongy; I would like it more if it was less spongy. Other than that, it is very well baked. I will give the Kirkland Signature Blueberry Muffins a 4.6 out of 5 simply because they didn't add enough blueberries and it's a bit too spongy.

Costco Kirkland Signature Chocolate Muffin Review

Costco Kirkland Signature Chocolate Muffin

Let me tell you all about my experience with the Costco Chocolate Muffin.

I give the chocolate muffin a rating of 4.0 out of 5.

I feel like they used to taste better when I was younger; they used to be very soft and nice. Now, they are harder and less tasty. I still think they are good, but not as good as they used to be.

There are other chocolate muffins that you can try if you don't like the simple chocolate muffin from Costco.

Costco Kirkland Signature The Double chocolate muffin Review

Costco double chocolate muffin

I like the double chocolate; it is one of my favorites.

Though I think all muffins can be a bit too sweet for me, including my favorite, I find this one quite interesting.

As a chocolate lover, I think they did a good job making the chocolate flavors pop.

I will give the double chocolate muffin a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Costco Blueberry Chocolate Chip Muffin

Costco Blueberry Chocolate Chip Muffin

Just amazing. I rate it 5.0 out of 5.

Costco Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin

Costco Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin

I rate it 5.0 out of 5.

Best of them all.

I really like the Costco blueberry and the banana chocolate chip muffins.

They taste good and are priced well. I give them both a rating of 5.0 out of 5 because I think they are the best of them all.

They are moist and soft, and above all, they taste good. I suggest you try them.

Costco Kirkland Signature Vanilla Chocolate Chunk Muffin Review

Costco Kirkland Signature Vanilla Chocolate Chunk Muffin

The Vanilla Chocolate Chunk Muffin is very interesting because it looks weird. Most of them have an opening on top that looks like they were overbaked, with some chocolate line design on the top. There's not much chocolate chunk on the top or inside. It's basically a muffin with some chocolate chips inside and some chocolate design on the top.

This one is sold in a 2-pack for $8 dollars. Each pack has 6 muffins, so for $8 dollars, you get 12 muffins—not a bad deal. But when comparing the taste, I have to rate them a 3.5 out of 5. Thumbs down. I think this muffin is one of the worst Costco has to offer.

I suggest you try it; maybe you will like it. I didn't like it at all. I still give it a 3.5 rating because of the chocolate design on the top. The top part is very nice and tasty.

The inside doesn't have much chocolate; it looks more like vanilla. I kid you not, there were maybe two pieces of chocolate inside each muffin. To me, it didn't represent the name. I was looking for more chocolate or for it to taste like chocolate.

I really didn't like it that much. I wouldn't buy this again; it's too funky. The chocolate inside was too bitter—not something you would want in the morning with your coffee. For me, the Costco Kirkland Signature Vanilla Chocolate Chunk Muffin is a thumbs down.

It's very blaaa—nothing special. It's not terrible, but it's one of those things where you wonder if it's even worth the calories to eat. It's very dense and very dry. The vanilla is very plain and overtakes the chocolate.

Not soft, doesn't taste like chocolate on the inside. Not for me.

Costco Kirkland Signature Poppy Seed Muffin review

Poppy Seed Muffin

Alright, y'all, I tried the Poppy Seed Muffin from Costco.

They are really good—this one is really good and not too sweet.

I think Costco did a really good job with them.

I usually eat poppy seed muffins with almonds. I liked them even before trying them at Costco but found that the Costco Poppy Seed Muffin has a really good flavor.

I didn't know what to expect, but I would honestly say this one is more flavorful than the chocolate one, actually.

I would give the Poppy Seed Muffin a 4.8 out of 5 because it tastes like cake—it's not too sweet and very flavorful.

Costco Kirkland Signature Apple Crumb Muffin Review

These muffins are jammed with fresh apples.

They are really tasty, and you can really feel like they are made from apple chunks. They are deliciously moist, and the top is really tasty. This is one of the muffins I would suggest you try because I really did like it.

The chunks of apple mixed in there are amazing.

I will rate the Costco Kirkland Signature Apple Crumb Muffin a 4.9 out of 5. A bit too sweet for me, but other than that, they are amazing.
